Prior to filing for legal separation you will need the following:

  • Time and patience
  • Your spouse's (respondent) social security number, full name, address (if known), occupation, time in Arizona
  • The date, city, and state of your marriage
  • Information about any shared property or debts
  • Custody plans (if applicable)


Criteria:

  • Residency in Arizona for at least 90 consecutive days
  • Spouse is not on active duty
