What does it mean to quash a warrant?

When an arrest warrant is issued, a judge will issue a bond amount that must be paid for the warrant to be quashed, which means the warrant will be canceled.  Arizona also allows a person to appear in court as a walk-in to resolve a warrant based on a failure to appear; each court location has different policies on walk-ins. Contact the courthouse that issued the warrant to see what their policies are on walk-ins or open court days.
