FAQ - Small Claims

I tried a writ of execution, but it did not work. What do I do now?

A writ of execution is an order to the constable to serve the defendant and attempt to collect on the judgment. Information could be obtained through a debtor examination after a judgment has been obtained. Court personnel may provide an “if you win packet” for more information. You may want to contact an attorney, as there could be more options available.
