I received a small claims summons and complaint in the mail. What do I do now?

Follow the instructions on the notice to defendant that you received. You will need to file an answer to the complaint within 20 calendar days (30 calendar days if out of state). If you have questions about any of the information you may want to contact an attorney for advice.
